To ensure that children are able to develop these skills, we are delivering a dedicated Skills Builder assembly each week, as well as awarding skills with a certificate. You might also see that we use Skills Builder badges on Class Dojo.
Please follow the link to the Skills Builder Homezone. This allows you to support skill building at home. www.skillsbuilder.org/homezone. You can find more information on the parents and carers page at https://www.skillsbuilder.org/parents-and-carers. All of the resources are free to access and easy to use.
As part of our mission to ensure that pupils at Harewood know their skills and how to develop them, we often invite local employers and businesses in to talk about their role and the skills they use. Some of the people who have visited school have included past pupils and parents too.
