Nursery and Reception Classes are separate but work closely together as an Early Years Team.

The Nursery can provide 78 part-time places and runs sessions from 8.15am until 4pm. Sessions are
flexibly offered to meet the needs of both children and parents whilst maintaining high quality provision
in the Nursery; these are reviewed termly. The minimum session length is two hours and the maximum
session length is eight hours. There are some full day places and lunch is offered within the Nursery
for children staying all day. There are eight 30 hour places available for 4 year-old children whose
              parents qualify.

There is a large outdoor classroom which is covered so that it can be used all year round. This is used by
              Nursery and Reception.

There are three Reception teaching areas and one of the teaching areas is an annexe and this has its
own small outdoor area and a withdrawal room for focused teaching.

Key Stage 1 consists of Year 1 and Year 2. There is close liaison between Reception and Y1 to enable
children to move successfully from Early Years to the National Curriculum. There are three Y1 classes
and three Y2 classes. Teachers in Y2 and Y3 also work closely together to bridge the transition into
              KS2.

KS2 consists of Year 3, 4, 5 and 6. There are three classes in each year group.

English and Maths are taught in sets from Y2 with children grouped according to their ability in the
different subjects. All other subjects are taught in mixed ability groups. There are some Specialist
Teachers who teach their subject across school; Mrs F Poole teaches IT and Ms E Sheraton teaches
